Home About Us Why Choose Blessed Sacrament? Before and After School Care

Falcon's Nest

Blessed Sacrament's before and after school care program is known as Falcon's Nest, after our school mascot, the Falcon. The program is available in the morning from 6:45 am until school starts, and in the afternoon from 3 to 6 pm. There is a $20 family registration fee, and the hourly rate is $5.00.  Payment is made in advance, and charges draw down the balance as the program is used.  Late pick-up charges accrue at a rate of $1.00 per minute.

The Falcon's Nest program is both structured and fun!  All students get to relax and have a snack from 3:10 to 3:30pm.  4th to 8th grade students then have mandatory study hall from 3:30 to 4:30. The younger students do their homework in the cafeteria before playing.  Early Childhood and Kindergarten students have access to the play area and outdoor playground on the east side of Elm Street, while 1st grade and older children enjoy inside and outside activities on the west side of Elm.  Students engage in a balance of games, arts & crafts, story time, videos, and outdoor pastimes.  Healthy snacks are provided and include fruit, veggies, cheese sticks, baked snacks, etc.  Supervision is strictly enforced.  Students are monitored and kept safe at all times.

When parents pick up their child, they must report to the school cafeteria and sign out their child.  The only people that are permitted to pick the child up are the people listed on the registration form.  Anyone else must be authorized through the parent and school.
